Product Overview
Location: San Antonio. TX Description: This photograph is representative of near-infrared photogaphy and the surprising effects it can have on subjects. I used special infrared filters which "leak" just a bit of natural visible light (hues) which allow me to create "colored" art while maintaining the surreal characteristics of infrared photography. The effect gives this work an almost hand-painted feel. The subject is a variety of the popular Blue Agave Cacti in San Antonio, Texas.
