Hugo's Infrared Art Photography Method: Hugo utilizes a full-frame, full-spectrum, ultra-high-resolution mirrorless digital camera paired with custom infrared glass filters ranging from 590nm to 900nm (electromagnetic spectral wavelengths). These specialized optical filters are individually attached to the lens depending on the subject and artistic intent. Filters in the lower spectrum (such as the 590nm) allow selective visual light wavelengths to pass through, shift, and re-key colors into "false colors"—revealing an ethereal, surreal world beyond human vision.
